The mission of Stanly Community College is to provide educational opportunities to all adults, regardless of economic status, race, creed or background. The College strives to meet educational needs by:

On the technology side of things, we are extremely proud of our unique status as a Cisco Regional Training Academy, a Novell Education Authorized Partner (NEAP), an Authorized Academic Training Partner (AATP) with Microsoft. Our enthusiastic, motivated and knowledgeable team of instructors includes those certified in Novell and Microsoft.

Online, telecast and NCIH (North Carolina Information Highway) delivered classes are available in addition to our seated day classes and evening classes. Classes are small and advisors are able to help students on a one on one basis; Our goal for each student is to provide not only the detailed knowledge required for education in a subject, but to develop leadership and problem solving skills as well. Our proffered Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates include many areas of study which range from industrial to technological and allied health domains.
